Each ride tells a story of a unique individual showing their struggles and triumphs on the road. Chants of “No to Jeepney Phase-out” are seen and heard not only on social media but on the streets where jeeps that have become part of our culture also start their journey in getting passengers.

In Isang Sakay, Isang Kwento, we show the lives of two jeepney drivers who have very different stories but are fighting similar battles that come their way such as traffic, fatigue, and the looming issue of their modernization.

 

We see the inner lives of the people we see everyday driving around Manila hoping to make a living. Carrying their burdens and challenges and cheerfully greeting their passengers despite that.
